(MENAFN) Kuwait imports of oil to China dropped in May by almost 7.4 percent on a year on year basis to 318.000 barrels per day, as exposed data by the Chinese government.
On the positive hand, Kuwait’s crude exports to the globe’s second largest oil consumer increased 5.6 percent year on year to 326.000 bpd.
Accordingly, China’s overall crude oil imports increased 15.4 percent in the cited month to 8.8mn bpd compared to numbers from the same period of 2016.
Meanwhile, Russia continued to be China’s top oil supplier with shipments growing by almost 9.4 percent on the year.
