(MENAFN) The first phase in Dubai’s Union Museum building has started this month, and is expected to be completed by June, 2014, according to Arabian Business.
The museum will be located near the Union House, the location of the signing of the document that formed the UAE more than 40 years ago.
“The construction firm started site works last week and Phase I of the project is set for completion by mid-year. Afterwards the RTA will award the contract of the main building of the museum which will be a beacon and a monument narrating the full story of the federation, the formation of the United Arab Emirates, and futuristic drive of this blessed country,” said Mattar Al Tayer, chairman and executive director of the RTA.
