(MENAFN) US-based Cushman & Wakefield said it has slashed jobs in its Dubai office as part of a restructuring plan that will shift its focus to Bahrain, Arabian reported.
By taking this step the consultancy firm followed a number of international firms which cut their workforces in Dubai in recent months.
The consultancy firm said it it was shifting its focus to other areas of growth in the Middle East.
Dubai was hit hard by the global economic crisis, which halved property prices, forcing firms to seek opportunities in new markets.
