(MENAFN) India?s Jet Airways has launched new flights from Calicut in the southern state of Kerala, India to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, according to Arab News.
Jet Airways became the largest Indian operator to Saudi Arabia.
The new eight daily flights between Dammam and Calicut will start operating on June 10.
Calicut (Kozhikode) is the third destination of the private airline in Kerala after Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) and Cochin (Kochi) to get a direct flight to Saudi Arabia.
Gaurang Shetty, senior vice-president- Commercial, Jet Airways, said: ?Jet Airways has already established itself as a prestigious brand in the intensely competitive India-Gulf sector in a relatively short period of time and the enhanced connectivity emphasizes the commitment to the growing market.”
