Dana Gas achieves record energy output in Egypt in 2013

(MENAFN) UAE-based Dana Gas has achieved record production of 39,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in Egypt this year, the company said in a press release.

The company explained that the total production includes 190 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of gas and 8,500 barrels of liquids per day.

The company has invested heavily along the Nile Delta over the last 18 months, building new compression facilities, new fields being brought on stream and work to increase its numerous gas plants throughput.

Dana Gas also said that it has collected USD41 million in the first quarter of this year, with a 100 percent revenue collection, while it continues to engage with government authorities regarding its overdue receivables and future capital expenditure plans.
