Denmark inks USD200m cement deal in Iraq

(MENAFN) Denmark-based FLSmidth, the global mining and cement industries has signed a deal worth more than USD200mn with Iraq Cement to apply 6.000 tons of cements daily.

The cement plant will generate 6.000 tons per day and will feature state-of-the-art equipment, involving the latest tech to ensure energy-efficient production process.

Accordingly, Iraq Cement is making the first step in raising financing for the project, which is an essential milestone in their pursuit to realize the project.

In addition, the agreement worth more than USD200mn and is amid several others, which will receipt of the down payment by FLSmidth.
