Deposits at UAE Central Bank hit USD33bn in H1

(MENAFN) The whole value of monetary deposits at the UAE Central Bank reached USD33.5bn amid the first half of the year, Dh122.95bn of which are in banknotes and Dh50mn in coins.

Furthermore, the deposits grew by 20.5 percent, growing from Dh102bn in May to Dh123bn in June.

In addition, the month of May was the most active amid which the total deposits increased to Dh21.9bn from Dh21.8bn in April.

Meanwhile, money withdrawals from the Bank reached Dh129.3 amid the cited period of the year, Dh129.23bn of which is in banknotes and Dh73mn in coins.
