Development projects in the Gulf region worth USD900 billion

(MENAFN) Reports say that development projects in the Gulf region are now worth USD900 billion and is expected to push up the material sector, according to Khaleej Times.

A report by the Kuwait Financial Centre said: “Relatively less affected by the global financial crisis and the political turmoil in the wider Mena region, the contracting industry in the GCC is witnessing strong growth, which is projected to increase further in the years to come.”

The report added that the GCC real estate projects accounts at USD516 billion in pipelines.
