(MENAFN) Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has announced that it has awarded a contract to build a new 400kV substation for the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, Arabian Business reported.
The USD68 million project will link the second project of the solar park to the grid, said Dubai’s state-owned utility (DEWA) in a statement without naming the contract winner.
“DEWA works continuously to enhance the efficiency of its network to meet the increasing demand for its services and establishes pivotal projects to achieve the highest standards,” CEO of DEWA said.
