DNO oil production soar in Kurdistan

(MENAFN) DNO said that production in Kurdistan jumped by almost a third in the April-June period of this year, The National reported.

In the Tawke oilfield, a well produced an average of 25,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the second quarter compared to an average of 10,000 bpd at another well in the same field.

The Norwegian company”s chairman, Bijan Mossavar-Rahmani, said: “We continue to ‘de-risk’ and deliver across our portfolio, and most impressively in our operations in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.”

DNO”s total production soared from 23,234 bpd to 38,720 bpd in this year”s second quarter.
