(MENAFN) Doha Bank, Qatar’s 5th largest lender by assets, posted a 85 percent drop in fourth quarter net profit.
Moreover, the bank earned a net profit of USD9.61mn in the cited period against 231.4mn riyals in the same period of the previous year.
On the other hand, the bank posted annual 2016 income of 1.05bn riyals, lower than the 1.37bn riyals reported in 2015.
Accordingly, the bank would recommend to shareholders to raise the capital by 20 percent amid the first half of the recent year.
