(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International’s (DSI) CEO, Khaldoun Tabari, stated that the company’s Kuwaiti unit has won a USD33.20 million contract, reported Emirates 24/7.
Tabari said that the two MEP packages are for a private residential development and a college for Sabah Al-Salem University.
The CEO added that Kuwait is a vital market for the company, which has been looking for projects across the country’s residential, healthcare, education, wastewater and water treatment sectors.
Since its establishment in 2004, Drake and Scull Kuwait (DSK) has been involved in some of the Gulf country’s main engineering projects, including the Special Training Centre for Public Authority for Applied Education and Training in Shuwaikh and the College of Basic Education- Boys Campus in Ardiya, in addition to the Kuwait State Audit Bureau.
It is worth noting that previously, DSK has been also awarded a USD54.43 million MEP package contract for the first college for Sabah Al- Salem University.
