Dubai- 4% rise in DED issued licenses in Q1

(MENAFN) A 4 percent increase in business licenses issues in the first three months of 2013 recorded by Dubai’s Department of Economic Development (DED), reported Emirates 24/7.

The issued commercial permits posted a 7 percent rise from the same period a year before, and the reserved trade names increased 5 percent.

General trade ranked as the main licensed commercial activity in the first quarter.

The professional activities, the tourism sector, and the industrial activities also were among the main sectors that the DED issued licenses for.
