(MENAFN) Drake & Scull International (DSI) CEO, Khaldoun Tabari, announced that the company has secured USD104.8 million worth of infrastructure contracts in Saudi Arabia and India, reported Arabian Business.
Tabari added that the USD48.99 million Saudi contract covers engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning for the Information Technology and Communication Complex (ITCC), and will be executed via the company’s engineering and general contracting divisions in the Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the USD55.80 million Indian contract covers the design, engineering, inspection, and delivery of a coal conveyor system, and was inked between DSI’s Indian subsidiary and a private energy firm.
It is worth noting that Dubai-based DSI reported a rise of 47 percent in its first-quarter profit, which reached USD17.14 million.
