(MENAFN) Landmark Group’s hospitality division CEO, Praveen Bhatnagar, announced that over the coming 5 years, the Dubai-based retail giant will launch between 10-15 new Citymax hotels, reported Arabian Business.
Bhatnagar added that the new properties will be located in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar.
At the current time, the group operates a trio of 3-star properties in Dubai and Sharjah, at more than 90 percent occupancy.
He said that in the UAE, the group will launch hotels in Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi, noting that a new property is due to open in the country within the next 6 months.
It is worth noting that Landmark, owned by billionaire Mickey Jagtiani, founded Citymax in 2008 to serve the mid-market hospitality sector in Dubai.
