(MENAFN) The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced that in July, exports and re-exports of its members jumped 16.4 percent from last year’s same period, reported Khaleej Times.
From a month earlier, the chamber’s exports and re-exports, which were valued at USD6.64 billion, rose by 7.6 percent.
During the first half, the chamber added 6,780 new members, compared to 5,233 in the same period a year ago, bringing its total membership to 135,000.
It is worth noting that in July, the number of certificates of origin issued by the Dubai Chamber went up by 8.7 percent from last year’s same period to 68,000.
