(MENAFN) Dubai’s trade with China reached a sum of about USD47.7 billion in 2014, marking a 29 percent increase against the previous year, according to official statistics, Reuters reported.
China is the prime economic trading partner for the emirate of Dubai and the transactions between the two is set to expand through the decision of the court system in Dubai’s financial free zone.
Dubai International Financial Centre wants to attract further legal businesses and it reported the filing of cases amounting to a total of USD479.02 million in value in 2014.
“We need to connect as a court with countries that are most important to our country, and most important to Dubai,” DIFC Courts’ registrar said in a conference.
