(MENAFN) Dubai’s transport authority announced completing its work on phase two of the Jumeirah Corniche Development project, Arabian Business reported.
The second phase of the corniche spans 2.5km, which means that a total of 4.5km of beachfront is now open to the public, with the final phase of the project expected to be in October.
The project comprises the construction of a five-meter wide walkway, a four-meter wide jogging track, rest areas including retail kiosks and shaded benches overlooking the beach.
Known as the Jumeirah Corniche Development Project, the corniche will be the longest in the emirate and will link with the USD545 million Dubai Canal Project.
