(MENAFN) Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) started operation in two power substations costing USD272,200, in a bid to meet the country’s increasing demand for power supply, reported Arab News.
DEWA said that the substations at Al-Aweer and Meydan will have a production capacity of 400/132KV.
The new substations come as a part of DEWA’s plan to increase its production capacity and enhance its transmission grid and optimize its services.
