Dubai- Dewa opens 1.5 MW solar power project

(MENAFN) Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, or Dewa has joined one of the main single-rooftop arrays in the Middle East and North Africa, a 1.5 MW at Jebel Ali Power Station.

Moreover, the project will support the Shams Dubai initiative, which is in line with the Smart Dubai initiative to move Dubai into the smartest city in the world.

In addition, this will engage the community in the production of elect from solar energy maintain the environment and lower the country’s carbon footprint.

On the other hand, it will also support the development of a green economy to attain sustainable development.
