(MENAFN) Dubai’s Emaar Properties stated that revenue from sales of apartments grew to USD154.4 million in the third quarter, from USD49.81 million in 2011’s same period, reported Reuters.
The emirate’s biggest developer said that revenue from sales of villas reached USD33.47 million, down from USD34.29 million a year ago.
In the 3-month period, income from sale of commercial properties and plot sales declined to USD29.66 million, compared with last year’s USD217.31 million.
In 2012, Emaar, the company behind the world’s tallest tower, launched 3 new real estate projects, with residential units generating strong interest.
