(MenaFn) Dubai International Airport announced on Thursday its plan of expanding its capacity which aims to provide more of the Airbus SAS A380 super-jumbo for Emirates Airlines, according to Saudi Gazette.
Emirates Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum said that the expansion project aims to helps the airport to become the busiest airport in the world over the next year.
Al Maktoum said: “We are going according to plan to accommodate all A380s. Hopefully within one year from now we would be No. 1.”
