(MENAFN) Dubai Investment Park (DIP) is constructing its own internal storm water network by adding pipelines to drain flood water into the sea to avoid any flooding.

Furthermore, many parts of DIP 1 and DIP 2 were flooded with water, the deepest at almost 4 feet at most roundabouts.

Accordingly, DIP has started building of its internal storm water network in the identified areas and aims to finish the same by the end of this year.

In addition, it also received an amount of rain, 12 times more than normal at 290mm, while waters exceeded the capacity of the soak pits and lagoons.
