(MENAFN) Emirates Airline and Group’s Chairman and CEO, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, stated that the company has launched an ultra-modern pilot training facility in cooperation with CAE, reported Emirates 24/7.
The facility, located at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), is the second training center owned and operated by Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT), and boosts the two sides’ mutual investment in the region to more than USD260 million.
The new 55,000 square foot facility will comprise 5 full-flight simulator (FFS) training bays with 3 already installed.
Furthermore, it will include 10 briefing/de-briefing rooms, 3 large classrooms and a high-tech computer-based training room.
