The plant has a daily capacity of 2.060 MW of electricity and 140 million imperial gallons (MIG) of desalinated water.
He added that the facility comprises 6 F-class gas turbines, each generating 234 MW, 3 steam turbines, each generating 218 MW, 8 MSF desalination units of 17.5 MIG per day, 6 heat-recovery boilers, 2 dual-fuel fired auxiliary boilers of 370 tons per hour and 16 fuel oil storage tanks, with a capacity of 20,000 cubic meters, each.
It is worth noting that the M-station will boost Dewa’s daily installed power capacity to 9.646 MW, and water capacity to 470 MIG.
