(MENAFN) Dubai has launched the Smart City Project worth USD299 million on Sunday, according to Arabian Business.
The new city will feature electricity-charged vehicles as the primary form of transportation.
Also Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) plans to launch Silicon Park, said Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of DSOA.
The Silicon Park project will include 97,000 square meters of office space, 25,000 square meters of commercial space, 20,000 square meters of residential area, and some other facilities.
