(MENAFN) Dubai Properties Group’s CEO, Khalid Al Malik, announced that the company has started sales of 348 family townhouses at its Mudon project, reported Arabian Business.
Al Malik said that prices for units at the much-delayed project, which is located in Dubailand district, begin from USD691,382.
In late 2012, DPG, a unit of Dubai Holding, said that it plans to resume work on phase one of the Mudon project, in response to market demand for large and affordable family homes in prime locations.
The first phase of Mudon, which was announced in 2007 at an estimated cost of USD11 billion, would have housed around 50,000 residents across 5 Arabic themed zones, and was scheduled for completion in 2009, with full hand over in 2012.
It is worth noting that deliveries are projected to start mid-next year.
