Dubai property deals drop by 12.4 percent in H1

(MENAFN) Whole value of real estate transactions in Dubai amid H1 of this year touched USD35.12bn, dropping by 12.4 percent despite a double-digit increase in the number of deals.

Additionally, the number of registered transactions increased 22.8 percent to 28.251 contracts in the Jan-June period of this year from almost 23.000 during the same period in 2015.

Moreover, the Dubai Land Department’s posted 20.016 property sales worth USD 13.25bn in the cited half of 2016, 6.391 mortgage transactions worth USD 13.16bn.

The country achieved a positive increase, with the value and the number of real estate transactions, which offers reassurance about the development that the country is viewing.
