(MENAFN) Aramex, the Dubai-based courier, reported it has registered a 16 percent increase in its net profit during the July-September period of this year, Arabian Business reported.
During this year’s third quarter, Aramex registered a quarterly net profit of USD18.95 million, compared with USD16.30 million registered during the corresponding period of 2013, while its revenue increased by 12 percent to reach USD250.95 million during the cited period.
“Revenues were once again particularly strong in international express and e-commerce,” Aramex Chief Executive said in a released statement.
Meanwhile, Aramex also said it is targeting at least two acquisitions during next year as part of the company’s growth strategy.
