Dubai’s Danube inaugurates a USD14m complex in Jebel Ali

(MENAFN) A USD13.61 million industrial complex and warehouse unit for Danube Group was inaugurated at Technopark in Jebel Ali, official WAM news agency reported.

The inauguration was under the patronage Sheikha Lubna bint Khalid Al Qasimi, UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, accompanied by Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group and other officials.

The project will help reduce UAE’s dependence on imported finished products as these will be custom-manufactured in the complex. Moreover, it will create about 100 direct jobs and support hundreds in indirect employment.

The industrial complex, built on a 450,000 sq m area, includes Melamine Pressing Unit, Steel Cut and Bend Unit, Decor Unit (Veneer Pressing Unit), Development Unit, Ceiling Tiles Manufacturing Unit, and Distribution Unit in addition to a Warehouse Unit measuring 300,000 square meters.
