Dubai’s DP World net profit up 26 percent in H1

(MENAFN) DP World, one of the world’s largest port operators, registered an increase of 26 percent in net profit in the January-June period, Gulf Business reported.

The company posted a net profit of USD332 million in the cited period, increasing from USD264 million in the corresponding period of last year.

“The addition of new capacity and a pick-up in global trade have resulted in a return to robust volume growth. Our portfolio is well-positioned to capitalize on the significant growth potential of this industry,” DP World chairman said.
