(MENAFN) Dubai’s Drake & Scull (DSI) recorded a net profit of USD6.83 million in the first quarter of the year, marking a slump by 38 percent compared to the same period last year, Reuters reported.
The net profit that was logged in the year-earlier period is USD10.97 million. However, the company remains wary of the hardships in its Saudi Arabian businesses that might affect its fiscal performance.
“Despite the volatile market conditions and the liquidity crunch in our industry, we managed to remain profitable,” the company said in the statement.
