(MENAFN) Dubai Cable Company (Ducab), a leading UAE-based cables manufacturer, said it plans to expand into African markets, according to the Emirates 24/7.
Ducab Managing Director Andrew Shaw said: “We have set ourselves a strategy to grow geographically so we need to be in more markets. Geographically, we see Africa as a market with real opportunities.”
The company had recently acquired UK-based AEI Cables, one of the oldest cable makers in the world, as part of its expansion plans.
Purchasing the AEI has helped Ducab expand its product range, and access to specialized expertise.
