(MENAFN) Emax, a division of Dubai conglomerate the Landmark Group, announced plans to launch 13 new stores in the Middle East by the end of the coming year, reported Arabian Business.
The electronic retailer said that the plan would boost the number of the company’s stores to 50.
It noted that the region’s consumer electronics market is promising, and the company is well positioned to benefit from this industry trend.
Emax’ first store was established in 2006, and at the current time the company is one of the leading regional electronic retailers, with 37 stores and more than 1,000 employees in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.
It is worth noting that last week, Emax posted a surge of 40 percent in its annual sales.
