(MENAFN) Inflation in Dubai rose 0.45 percent in July compared to June, driven by increases in prices of food and non-alcoholic consumer products, according to Dubai Statistics Center (DSC).
The DSC said prices of beverages rose 2.62 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas, and other fuels increased 0.42 percent, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco up 0.24 percent.
The DSCalso noted that the prices of miscellaneous goods and services dropped 0.56 percent, furnishings, household equipment and routine maintenance fell 0.21 percent and transport 0.08 percent.
