(MENAFN) Dubai’s inflation degree jumped to 4.2 percent through the first nine months of this year based on a report from the Dubai Statistics Centre (DSE).
The rise was mainly attributed to the price surge in categories that including furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance.
Moreover, the cited groups were up 8 percent, while education, restaurant and hotel prices grew by 2.64 percent, 2.47 percent and 2.23 percent, respectively.
Meanwhile, the month-on-month inflation ratio for September increased to 0.28 percent, pushed up by price increases in categories such as education.
