(MENAFN) UAE’s developer Meydan announced that it has inked a USD163 million deal with Mir Hashem Khoory (MHK) to set up a hospital in Dubai, reported Arabian Business.

The company that developed Dubai’s Meydan Racecourse said over half of the medical facility’s 600 staff will come from Korea, transforming the emirate into a major medical tourism destination.

The 280,000 sqft facility that would specialize in dermatology, cosmetic surgery, lasik, spine surgery, gynecology and adult and pediatric rehabilitation will include 170 beds and 7 operating rooms.

It is worth noting that building the project will start in 2013 and is slated for completion in 2 years.
