Dubai’s RTA to construct 19 pedestrian bridges

(MENAFN) Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Board of Directors said it plans to build 19 pedestrian bridges in Dubai in the following two years, Qatar News Agency.

In 2014, seven bridges are expected to be completed by RTA, while the other 12 will be built in 2015 in different areas of Dubai.

RTA Board Chairman and Executive Director Mattar Al Tayer said: “New bridges will be constructed in locations identified in traffic studies focused on dense movement.”
