(MENAFN) Dubai’s new USD40.8 million worth zoo has started employing tourist guides, and is planned to be opened by 2015, according to Arabian Business.
The new zoo, called The Dubai Safari, will include several areas known as Arabian Village, Asian Village, African Village to accommodate animals from different continents, and other entertainment areas.
Dubai Safari will be located in Al Warqa 5, Aweer Road, and will extend over 396 hectares.
Khalid Abdul Rahim, director of human resources department at Dubai Municipality, said: “We have already appointed 20 Emirati youth as tourist guides who will start working from April as trainees. The department is under the process of short listing resumes and interviews with applicants for around 320 exciting positions to work with Dubai Safari.”
