(MENAFN) Egypt and China signed an initial accord for 15 projects, with a total value of about USD10 billion, according to a statement by the Trade Minister of Egypt, Reuters reported.
The preliminary agreement was signed with an assembly of representatives from the Trade Ministry of China. The funding for the project will be agreed upon by the upcoming September.
The electricity and transport sectors are going to be the focal point for the projects, with a direct investment from China to be injected in several projects.
