(MENAFN) Egypt almost financed 47.000 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and some micro businesses with USD 3.14bn at the end of June this year.
Furthermore, the amount rejects the value of funds given for projects that increased to become similar to main firms.
However, the country rejected funds with value of USD 1.38bn into 18.000 projects in 2015/2016, with an increase rate of 71 percent.
On the other hand, SMEs are a key pillar for the country’s plan, which aims to offer more support to this activity and enlarge the size of its portfolio.
