Egypt to invest in 3 power projects reaching USD7 bn

(MENAFN)The capacity of Dairurt project will include 2.250 MW, which would be operated by Acwa power, the capacity of Al-nowais will reach 2.640 MB located in Oyoun Mousa, Toyota alliance to operate the Gulf of Suez wind plants.

The contracts of the projects will be finished by the ministry of Electricity. Toyota, Oracom, and GD France had approved all the technical, financial, and legal concepts, which will be contained in the Suez Gulf wind project, costing USD300 m.

The discussions with Acwa about the Dairut power plant were completed, except the agreement on ruling. The Dairut power plant will be established on a 7056 KM2 and will contain three units, with a 22,500 MW in total, each generating a combined-cycle technology, and the project’s total cost will be USD 2.2bn.
