Egypt to receive new EGP9.5bn project for phosphate, fertilizers production

(MENAFN) Minister of Trade and Industry proclaimed that Evergrow Fertilizers, which generates phosphate and mixed fertilizers, will establish a new project in Egypt in co-op with two leading firm with EGP9.5bn investments.

Accordingly, this project will generate almost 1.1mn tons annually, divided into 600.000 tons of compound fertilizers and 500.000 tons of calcium phosphate.

Meanwhile, the firm will also produce 700.000 tons of sulfuric acid and it will offer 5.000 job chances.

The chairperson of the new project plans at directing 25 percent of the production to the regional market and exporting 75 percent of the production to the global market.
