Egyptian museums revenues hit EGP45mn in 2016

(MENAFN) Egyptian museums achieved the highest incomes in Dec, posting EGP6.8mn with 117.000 visitors, while the lowest revenue reached was USD1.7mn in June with 21.800 visitors.

Accordingly, the number of visits of museums and archaeological sites has increased amid the recent months starting from Oct which coincide with the winter season.

In addition, the museums’ total revenue in Jan reached EGP2.8mn with 72.400 visitors, compared to EGP4mn in Feb with 125.000 visitors.

However, the profits declined gradually, to post EGP2.9mn in May with 51.600 visitors, until they declined to EGP1.7mn in June with 21.800 visitors.
