Egypt’s Domty aims USD27mn production grow

(MENAFN) Egyptian Dairy firm Arabia Food Industries CO. (Domty) will invest USD27mn in 2016 and 2017 in order to fund expansion and increase production capacity.

The firm, which raised a combined USD0.12bn in private and public share offering in March, has two factories in the 6th of Oct district near Cairo.

Accordingly, the company also plans to open a new factory next month that will increase juice production and start the new line of baked goods.

Meanwhile, the firm has increased production of white cheese to 175 thousand tons a year and plans to hit 215 thousand tons by the end of 2016.
