Egypt’s EIP to launch local investment fund of USD100mn

(MENAFN) Emerging Investment Partners (EIP) will launch regional direct investment fund with a capital of USD100mn.

Furthermore, 50 percent of the fund’s capital will be earmarked for investment in Egypt, while capital collection is already underway.

On the other hand, the firm currently acquired 51 percent of Lebanon’s hospitality venture The Backyard Hazmie.

The company proclaimed it acquired 100 percent of the shares of General Cable Egypt from their previous owner General Cable in the U.S.
