Egypt’s external debt to hit USD53.4bn

(MENAFN) Egypt’s external debt will reach USD53.4bn if the country received an Intl’ Monetary Fund (IMF) loan.

Accordingly, the country was searching USD4bn a year among three years from the IMF, in order to support plug a funding gap.

Additionally, the government plans to complete the deal in August, while a two-week IMF mission arrived in Cairo over the weekend.
