Egypt’s non-oil exports grow by 25pct in Jan

(MENAFN) Minister of Trade and Industry proclaimed that non-oil Egyptian exports increased by 25 percent in January this year.

Moreover, exports in the cited month posted USD1.66bn, up from USD1.327bn in the same month of 2016.

However, total exports in Dec slightly declined by 1.3 percent, while imports dropped in Jan by 25 percent, settling at USD3.626bn.

Meanwhile, Egyptian producers are depending on the flotation to increase their products’ competitiveness in global markets.
