Egypt’s private construction firms launch projects worth EGP39.8bn

(MENAFN) Construction firms in the private sector have installed projects worth EGP39.8bn in n2015, an increase of 27.1 percent compared to the previous year.

Furthermore, the increase was attributed to projects that have worked on updating infrastructure, particularly those that relate to electricity and education.

Accordingly, the value of projects on residential buildings implemented by the sector reached EGP8.9bn in 2015, compared to EGP7.8bn in 2014.

In addition, the total value of projects on electricity stations and networks reached EGP5.5bn in 2015, compared to last year”s EGP1.7bn.
