(MENAFN) Emirates Airline’s senior vice president, Commercial Operations, Gulf, Middle East and Iran, Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, stated that the airline plans on operating 59 additonal flights to Saudi Arabia during the month of Ramadan, reported Arabian Business.
Sheikh Al Mualla also said that the planned extra flights were aimed at assisting pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah, and will only be accessed by by travellers holding a valid Umrah visa.
The senior vice president added that 42 of the additional flights will operate to Jeddah from July 5 to August 16, while the remaining 17 extra flights will operate to the city of Madinah from July 16 till the last day of the month.
